KNIT Meeting – Tawashi Knots

October 8, 2019 @ 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

October is busy.  Come and join us as we learn how to knit a Tawashi Knot.  Using a
combination of knitting and origami to make little scrubbies, the Tawashi Knots pattern is free
on Ravelry for knit and crochet. Bring a worsted weight cotton of one color, 5 stitch markers,
and yarn needle for sewing in ends.  Knitters – size 6 needles.  Crocheters – size G hook.
AND then we will measure.  After Christmas gifts, it’s time to knit for yourself … maybe that
means a sweater, cardigan, or some other garment where gauge and size actually matter.  The
first decison is always “what size do I make?”  Bring your flexible measuring tape, and we’ll help
each other get all the essential measurements.  No judgements, just numbers. We’ll provide
information about what to measure and how; you will need to wear something that is form
fitting.
