These are always in demand and we’d love to collect as many as we can for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October! \nOur charity yarn stash is running low\, please consider donating or asking friends to search their stash for acrylic yarns of various weights. \nSpeaking of stash\, Ravelry has several patterns including the Snippet Scarf and Stashbuster Scarf that create fringe instead of ends to weave in. The Fidget Sleeve is also a good stash eater. \nWe have many infant hats. Please consider making an infant blanket 24″x36″ or larger that will go to Project Linus or LBJ pediatric unit.

It is located at 10555 Spring Cypress\, just east of Highway 249.  \nFor this gathering we are focusing on Warm Up America!\, making 7” x 9” blanket sections made in worsted acrylic yarn. The charity expressed the need for blankets\, and they have joiners who will put together the knitted and crocheted sections we provide. \nThere are links to some patterns for the blanket sections listed on the guild website as well as the charity site below.
