SUMMARY:KNIT Meeting - Tawashi Knots
DESCRIPTION:October is busy.  Come and join us as we learn how to knit a Tawashi Knot.  Using a\ncombination of knitting and origami to make little scrubbies\, the Tawashi Knots pattern is free\non Ravelry for knit and crochet. Bring a worsted weight cotton of one color\, 5 stitch markers\,\nand yarn needle for sewing in ends.  Knitters – size 6 needles.  Crocheters – size G hook.\nAND then we will measure.  After Christmas gifts\, it’s time to knit for yourself … maybe that\nmeans a sweater\, cardigan\, or some other garment where gauge and size actually matter.  The\nfirst decison is always “what size do I make?”  Bring your flexible measuring tape\, and we’ll help\neach other get all the essential measurements.  No judgements\, just numbers. We’ll provide\ninformation about what to measure and how; you will need to wear something that is form\nfitting.
