SUMMARY:KNOW Meeting – SAMI Mittens
DESCRIPTION:Amy Rodgers will do a presentation on the mittens knit by the SAMI people of the far North of the Nordic countries. She will show swatches created when attending an in-person class with Laura Ricketts\, an expert in Sami traditional knitting. Amy recently completed a pair of mittens based on a pattern written by Laura Ricketts.\n\nMembers are also invited to show and share any of your completed projects.\n\nMembers often arrive early to visit over dinner and show their support to the restaurant for their generosity in allowing us to meet there. Visitors and members from other chapters are always welcome.\n\nWe’re looking forward to seeing you on June 26th!
