SUMMARY:Knitters Night Out West (KNOW)
DESCRIPTION:Our sweater series is drawing to a close. It’s time for closure on our sweaters! Button Bands! (Did you see what I did there?) \nAt the October meeting\, we will discuss various buttonholes you can knit\, how to plan out their placement\, and how to stabilize buttons on a knitted garment. In the workshop portion\, we will pick up and knit a button band with buttonholes. \n*NOTE: Please bring two 3  x 6  blocked stockinette pieces in worsted weight yarn\, knitting needles the same size you knitted with\, and additional worsted weight yarn to knit the bands. \nAlso\, if you have any additional questions or concerns particular to your project\, please email your questions to cathy@drake-family.net. And I will prepare my best answers for the meeting to help you be successful. Don’t forget that December will be our show and tell time! \nI’m finishing up my sweater for then too.
