No homework is necessary\, but those who would like to try making a small swatch can bring some light-colored worsted weight yarn and an 8mm (11/L) or 9mm (13/M) straight\, non-ergonomic crochet hook. A Tunisian crochet hook is not necessary but if you already have one feel free to bring it. Bring some stash yarn to practice and have corresponding needles. \nThe featured pattern is the “Knitted Flower Tutorial” by Julie Taylor. You will need 2 colors: approx.10 yards of DK yarn (main) & approx. 1 yard of DK yarn (contrasting); size US 6 (4mm) needles.
