DESCRIPTION:WHEN: 2nd Saturday of the month\, 10am-12pm. \nWHERE: Zoom and Weekley Community Center\, 8440 Greenhouse Rd\, Cypress\, TX 77433 \n  \nThe Basics of Tunisian Crochet \n  \nTracy Reid will teach us about this beautiful style of Tunisian crochet. No homework is necessary\, but those who would like to try making a small swatch can bring some light-colored worsted weight yarn and an 8mm (11/L) or 9mm (13/M) straight\, non-ergonomic crochet hook. A Tunisian crochet hook is not necessary but if you already have one feel free to bring it. We will have extra regular 9mm crochet hooks available. \n  \nAn instructional handout will be provided for those who want to try practicing on their own.  \nYou can use any weight yarn to practice just use a crochet hook that is 2-3 sizes larger than what is normally suggested. \n  \nTracy will bring finished projects\, swatches\, tools and a couple books to share as well. \n  \nFree pattern used for the demo and swatch:  \nhttps://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/big-leaf-maple-bandana \n
