SUMMARY:KIND Meeting – Mosaic (Colorwork pt. 1)
DESCRIPTION:KIND will begin a series of programs on colorwork. \nFor January\, we will focus on mosaic knitting. Mosaic is one of the easiest ways to do complex colorwork patterns but uses only one color at a time. Come join us at the meeting to learn about mosaic knitting and try out one of these patterns. \nTo participate\, you’ll need two colors of the same yarn\, a light and a dark (take a photo and use your phone to convert it monochrome/black-and-white to ensure good contrast!). For needles\, you can use circular or straight needles\, but select ones 1-2 sizes larger than you would normally use for that yarn.
