KNOW’s October program will be Twisted Traveling Stitches presented by Amy Rodgers.
This technique is associated with fine wool knitting on gloves and socks from the Bavarian region of Germany. She will introduce a simple pumpkin motif chart composed of zigs, zags, and twists.
In a break from tradition, we will be making it a back-and-forth design. Participants can choose between making a beverage coaster or a face/dish cloth.
If you want to make a beverage coaster, bring wool fingering or sport weight yarn and appropriate size needles
If you prefer face or dish clothes, bring a worsted weight cotton or linen
*Note: Amy’s tip is that sharper tapered points may be helpful since no cable needles are used!
Visitors and members from other chapters are always welcome. Members often arrive early to Spring Creek to visit over dinner. We’re looking forward to seeing you on October 25th!
