For our June meeting SoCK is going on a field trip! Join us at Color Me Mine in Cypress from 11:00 - 1:00 to paint a yarn bowl. The cost is $30.00 plus tax. Map to Color Me Mine
We will continue our anticipation and preparation for Houston Fiber Fest. Please bring projects you have made with yarn purchased at past Houston Fiber Fests (or just bring the yarn if you are still thinking about the perfect project for that yarn). We will discuss vendors and share our shopping lists!
Please come and join us in learning how to embroider as you knit. Bring DK yarn and needles to match. We will also be discussing final preparations for using the remainder of our budget. Come and be heard.
This month we have the honor of having our KANG President, Dolores Rose, show us the effect of different decreases on mitered squares. We will need worsted weight yarn and appropriate size needles for the yarn. Yarn should be a smooth, solid light-colored yarn to show the effect best.
