Join us for some knitted/crocheted/crafted Christmas ornaments or decorations! Everyone is asked to bring any of these that they may have, no matter how long ago or recently. It would be helpful for you to bring the pattern and/or name of the yarn, if you can.
KIND will be having a holiday celebration! All are asked to bring a savory or sweet dish to share. Also, we will collect small toiletries to donate to a shelter or other charity.

Do you have a device for winding hanks of yarn into balls? Jane will lead this program and help us learn all about this "swift". HOMEWORK: Bring your swift and yarn that needs winding!
KIND Member, Kate Wilson, will facilitate the March programs about "Knitting Websites"!
The April's program will have a presentation by Penny Hurst on knitting jewelry. Penny will supply the materials unless you want a specific color bead, which you will need to bring. The beads should be no larger than 1/2 inch and you will need no more than 20-30.
The KIND chapter will be making Dryer Balls! Please bring wool yarn (not superwash wool) and felting needles, if you have them. The yarn can be scraps of wool, such as from an old sweater or any other wool item. Color does not matter.
The June meeting of the KIND chapter will be a "Sock Clinic". Those who are proficient in sock knitting are going to help those who aren't with tricks to help all be more successful sock knitters.
For the July meeting of the KIND chapter, we will take a vacation from an organized program and just sit and knit and enjoy each other's company. It will also be a chance to ask for help with any knitting or crochet projects.
