Knitting in the Daytime (KIND)

At our July meeting we will begin work on our next charity project. It was decided that we would knit and crochet wash clothes for charity.

As part of the process of working on this project, we are going to have a presentation on “crocheting for knitters” and we will have patterns for those that would like to learn and those who are proficient at crocheting available. Knitting patterns will also be provided at the meeting.

More information will be sent prior to our meeting.

Saturday Cypress Knitters (SoCK)

Back by popular demand! Join us as we explore making a basket from stash yarn. We will be crocheting multiple strands and your choice of weight of yarns using a N or P hook.

The pattern is available on Ravelry: Big Beautiful Basket

If you want a preview, there is also a YouTube video.

To complete a basket, you will need 300 yards of three worsted-weight yarns, one P or N crochet hook, and at least two removable stitch markers.
