We are thrilled to be back at the Horseshoe Bay Resort again this year. Located just off of Lake LBJ near Marble Falls, TX, there are beautiful walking trails, bike rentals available, golf courses including a putting course, fitness center and on-site spa.
Our 2019 Teaching Lineup includes Andrea Mowry, Cecelia Campochiaro, & Juju Vail. Juju will also be presenting our Saturday Night Talk!
You can read more about our teachers and the classes they will be offering at this event in our newsletter.
Stitches, S’Mores & More began in 2008 and was originally sponsored by the Brazos Valley Knitting Guild. After 2017 the retreat became staffed by former attendees who volunteer their time and energy to share their love of all things fiber.
See our website for a list of classes: http://www.texasknitcamps.com/
Regular registration is $450 and includes three nights lodging, all meals, up to three classes, a goodie bag, and more!
Local Yarn Store Day is a brick-and-mortar yarn shop appreciation day created by TNNA Yarn Group. The inaugural LYS Day will take place on April 21 and is designed to show support for small businesses while bringing together a unique community of knitters, crocheters, weavers and spinners to drive awareness and celebrate the craft.
Support your local yarn store by visiting it on April 21 and making a purchase! Many shops will have special events and sales going on that day.
As always, the knit-in is open to anyone who likes to knit and/or crochet for charity. Please help spread the word! Feel free to bring a food item to share with the group. We will have an oven and a microwave to heat up food. Water, coffee, and tea will be provided.
Kid ‘N Ewe is Texas’s premier fiber arts festival for spinners, weavers, knitters, crocheters, felters, and anyone else who enjoys the wide variety of fiber arts.
This year the festival will be held in a new location – the Hill Country Youth Event Center in Kerrville, TX.
