Whether you spin fiber into yarn to knit, weave, or just for the heck of it, we would like to meet and support each other on our spinning journey.
We will begin with an exploratory meeting on Saturday December 11 at 10 am at the Guild House, the home of the Houston weaver’s guild (see info below).
At this meeting we will discuss goals and details of the future of the group, including the possibility of becoming a KANG chapter. Please invite any spinners you know so we get a good turnout at this key meeting.

Anyone who is interested in hand-spinning, please join us as Jenny Quattlebaum is giving a brief demonstration on how to use the drop spindle. She will be providing a sampling of several different fiber types. There are not enough drop spindles (Jenny will be bringing five spindles) to pass around; however, if you have one or a few to spare, please bring them for those that would like a hands-on experience!
