Both are held at the CHH Guild House, 1425 Blalock, 2nd floor.

If you are a spinner, bring your wheel, drop spindle or e-spinner and check out our group and the guild.
Occasionally meeting schedules will vary, so please check the CHH website calendar before heading out. For this and other information, see http://www.weavehouston.org/

Knitters Night Out West (KNOW)

CHANGE OF DATE!!

The KNOW chapter will be having our annual holiday party early.

We will meet Monday, December 16th at 6:30 pm at Spring Creek BBQ.

There will be finger foods and everyone is encouraged to bring a sweet or savory holiday treat. We will be doing a gift exchange/party game. For those who want to participate, please bring a wrapped skein of fingering weight yarn (no acrylic please!) in the $30-35 range. Hope to see everyone there!

Saturday Cypress Knitters (SoCK)

Join the SoCK group for our annual holiday party.

Formulate your gift-stealing strategy for our White Elephant Gift Exchange Game. Bring a $20-25 wrapped gift without any name tag (stash dive if you want). The gift should be related to or themed after knit/crochet/yarn, etc.

Participation in the White Elephant is optional, but it’s a lot of fun and can be quite competitive! Bring yarn-friendly snacks or finger food. With any luck, the weather will be cool enough to show off lovely hand-made scarves, shawls, or sweaters. Join us!

Knitters Night in Town (KNIT)

KNIT Chapter members will be sent the address.

If you are not a member of the KNIT Chapter and would like to join us, we are happy to have you. Please email knitatnightguildKNIT@gmail.com for further information.

Knitters Night Out West (KNOW)

Please join us for a sit-n-knit on Monday, November 25th. We will use this time to work on our sweaters or whatever project you wish.

Many members often come early to have dinner and support the restaurant and their generosity in letting us meet there. Guild members and visitors are welcome to join us.

Knitting in Kingwood (KIK)

At our meeting in October we learned about Knit Companion, shared WIPs and FOs.
We also talked about charity knitting for the Neonatal ICU at Memorial Hermann NE and some of the items they need.

In November we will be having a class on assigned pooling and the designer of the Summer’s Meadow Shawl will be joining us.
