KNOW Mtg – Holiday Party

This month KNOW will be on December 12, instead of the day after Christmas.

Please join us in celebrating the Holiday season!  We will be having our annual yarn gift exchange.  Please bring a skein of yarn worth approximately $25 if you would like to participate.  There will be holiday treats and we will have a fun swap.  It is not required to participate in the swap to attend the meeting.

A group of our members arrive early to eat before the meeting. Please feel free to join us

The November KNOT meeting will be held the 3rd Thursday (Dec 15), in place of the 4th Thursday due to Christmas. 
 
We will have a potluck and yarn exchange. Please bring your favorite savory or sweet dish to share, and 1 to 2 skeins of nice yarn. Please label the outside of the package with the weight of yarn.

We will have a Christmas potluck and optional gift exchange. If you want to participate bring a knitting themed gift around $15. Everyone will contribute something for the potluck.

You are invited to come to the Chix with Sticks annual Christmas gathering. You may bring some “Good Eats” to share.  We are also having a gift exchange valued from ten to fifteen dollars and be crochet or knit related.  Hoping to see everyone there.

Please join us for our annual Christmas Party Potluck at Trini Mendenhall. We will have a white elephant gift exchange of yarn-related items. We’ll also be discussing and preparing for some exciting new upcoming programs for the chapter!

SoCK Mtg – Holiday Party

It’s our annual Holiday Party at WC Mercantile! We’ll be meeting on Saturday, December 10 at 10:00 a.m.

We will have a catered brunch provided by our very own Brandy. The activities will include shopping, a stitch marker exchange, and the Gift Swap/Steal game.

For the stitch marker exchange, bring 25 – 30 stitch markers to swap.

For the Gift Swap/Steal Game, bring a wrapped knitting book that if bought brand new would be worth between $20 – $30. But feel free to bring a gently used book that you found at Half-Price books or that’s been languishing on your book shelf.

Participation in the stitch marker exchange and the Gift Swap/Steal Games is not required.

SoCK Mtg – Ergonomics & 20 Year Celebration

Have you gotten stiff hands after knitting? Wished you could finish that shawl, but your fingers just ache too much? Then you might need to see a chiropractor. Dr. Susan Bradshaw will be teaching stretching techniques for knitters. Come learn how to knit happy and healthy! If you have any specific questions for Dr. Bradshaw, please send them to her at drsue@lschiropractic.com.

In addition, we will be celebrating KANG‘s 20th Anniversary! Here is the party food menu: Whole wheat zucchini walnut loaf, Bacon Cheddar and Thyme muffins, Gluten free Blueberry Struessel Cake, Seasonal Fruit, Coffee, and Tea.   Please RSVP to the Facebook event or to sock@knitatnight.org so we know how much food to make. :)
