Knitters Night Out West (KNOW) — January RESCHEDULED

We will be presenting our completed KALs from November and showing our current WIPs.

Many of our members often come early to dine at the restaurant and show appreciation for their generosity in allowing us to meet there. All KANG members and visitors are welcome!

Knitting in the Daytime (KIND)

At our January 15th meeting, Naomi Enav will demonstrate and instruct members on the use of the Guild’s knitting machines. During this program Naomi will discuss the yarn weights that she has had the most success with and which yarn weights are difficult to work with.

**Please note the date change!**

For our January meeting, Sparrow will be visiting to teach Portuguese knitting. Portuguese style is a way of holding, tensioning, and flicking your yarn that requires minimal hand movement when switching from knit to purl stitches – perfect for ribbing!

Homework: Bring a medium-weight yarn and appropriate size needles to try out this new technique – no other accessories are necessary. If you have a pin or brooch for Portuguese knitting, please bring it to show.
