**CHANGE OF DATE!!**

We will be having our monthly meeting on December 15th instead of December 29th due to the holidays.

It will also be our holiday party with a gift exchange.

If you wish to join us and participate in the gift exchange, please bring a skein of yarn, not acrylic, worth $25-30. Several members will be bringing dessert/food items to share. All are welcome!

Knitting in Kingwood (KIK)

Our Holiday Party is scheduled for 12/20. We will be having snacks, etc. provided by the club. Please let Maggie know if you plan to attend (OR NOT!) so that we can plan appropriately.

If you are coming, our sharing for the holidays is a cup cozy.

Here is a quick ravelry search of free patterns: Free cup cozy patterns

It’s GNOME-vember!

Join us as Karen Fern leads the group in a gnome make-along and shares her tips and tricks.
More info regarding patterns, materials, and any necessary homework will be sent to closer to the meeting, so please email knitatnightguildKNIT@gmail.com if you are interested in participating and have a home chapter other than ours!

Knitting in the Daytime (KIND)

At our November meeting Gloria Chukman will be presenting a program titled, “Pack it or Hack it“.

We’ll talk about what to pack, fiber-wise, for knitting when traveling, and some hacks for tools, whenever or wherever you don’t have them handy and just *have to* to knit.  With the holidays quickly approaching, this a subject that many of think about even before we pack our suitcases!

Knitters Night Out West (KNOW)

We will be starting a knit along project (KAL), with everyone showing their finished product at our January meeting. Project will be determined by a majority vote, and it will be small enough that it can be easily finished in 1-2 months.

Many of our members often come early to dine at the restaurant and show appreciation for their generosity in allowing us to meet there. All KANG members and visitors are welcome!

Knitting in Kingwood (KIK)

This month we’ll be knitting or crocheting pumpkins! Start searching your stash for those pumpkin-colored yarns and join us!

Knitters Night in Town (KNIT)

This month we’ll be making counting chains. This nifty little tool moves just like a stitch marker so you can keep knitting (or crocheting) uninterrupted. No more putting your project down to click a counter or tap an app on your phone!

To participate, please bring:

Small jewelry pliers (needle, round, or bent nose) – two pairs if you have them!

Any beads or charms you would like to use (or share).

We will provide the metal hardware and numbers.

Don’t want to make one? No problem! You are still welcome to join us and work on your own project.

Guests and members of other chapters are always welcome!
