North Texas Yarn Crawl – North Texas, TX

Twelve local yarn stores are ready to welcome you to the 15th Annual North Texas Yarn Crawl!
Friday, April 25 – Sunday, May 4 from 10 am to 5 pm (Monday – Saturday) and 12 pm to 5 pm (both Sundays)
*These are the minimum hours shops agree to be open; some may extend their times for special events. When in doubt, please check each shop’s social media channels or give them a call.
Never been on a yarn crawl?
Here’s how it works:
? Pick up a free Passport at the 1st shop on your route. Passports also come with the 2025 collective Crawl bag, available for pre-order starting April 11.
? Get your passport stamped at each LYS you visit.
? Enjoy shopping & special events at each of the 12 LYSes throughout North Texas. Meet various indie dyers at their trunk shows, explore exclusive store colorways & research new patterns for future WIPs,
? Collect complimentary stitch markers from every shop; no purchase required – whole supplies last.
? Turn in your passport at the last shop you visit, or mail it in to be eligible for prizes; you do NOT have to visit every store to be eligible to win!

The 2023 Houston Fiber Fest charity focus is related to a topic that touches the lives of many in the Texas area: breast health, education, and cancer awareness. In Texas, breast cancer has been the leading cancer type since 2016. This year, we will be highlighting two organizations that support quality breast health care and providing services to breast cancer survivors.

The Best Little Yarn Crawl in Texas

The 2022 Best Little Yarn Crawl in Texas runs from October 7th through the 16th. We are continuing to evolve the crawl this year, so make sure to check here for all the news.

  • No passports needed – You do not have to purchase anything to join the fun! Just come see us online or in store for featured discounts, special events and door prizes.
  • We will have a Bingo card this year that you can download and get stamped during the crawl – visit all the participating shops for a chance to win a grand prize or enough to get a “bingo” for a chance to win one of two smaller prizes.
  • Each store will have its own crawl door prize drawings as well!
  • To celebrate 16 years of crawl, stores will have a limited supply of souvenir project bags that will be given away with a purchase of $75 or more. Shop early to get yours!
  • Every store is keeping their own special crawl hours so please check the store guide for information and to plan your route.
  • Each store is featuring a brand of yarn at 15% off. This means all yarns that are part of that brand are on sale during the crawl.
  • Each store continues to have their own safety policies, mask requirements and/or in store customer limits where needed so please click the store websites below for the most up to date information.
