Knitters Night Out West (KNOW)

Join us for a sit n’ knit. No program – just knitting, crocheting and socializing.

Many of our members often come early to dine at the restaurant and show appreciation for their generosity in allowing us to meet there.
All KANG members and visitors are welcome!

Knitting in Kingwood (KIK)

KIK President Maggie was selected to host a KnitStars meetup!

It will take place at the same time and place as the normal KIK chapter meeting.
As we may need to get a larger room this month, please let Maggie know if you would like to attend by emailing knitatnightguildkik@gmail.com or texting her at (916) 802-9246.

Saturday Cypress Knitters (SoCK)

SoCK: Planning, Sit-and-Knit, and Finished Projects

The program combines a sit-and-knit session with planning for next year’s programs. We’ll ask volunteers to claim a particular month. We don’t need you to know your exact program, just volunteer for a time slot. We’ll do the same thing for Door Prize volunteers. After that, we’ll show off finished projects and have a relaxing time sitting and knitting (or crocheting). Please join us!

Knitting in the Daytime (KIND)

At our July meeting we will be stitching together blocks for the charity blankets to donate to the Linus Project. It looks like we have enough knitted blocks to complete at least 3 older children blankets. Please bring your darning needles. At our last meeting it was suggested that we crochet a border around the edges of the blankets, so if any of the members would like to participate in this part it would be appreciated.

Knitters Night in Town (KNIT)

Knitted Knockers Night

We will learn a few tips on making knockers using 2 circulars, magic loop or double points.

For those willing to support this effort, patterns and Caboo yarn will be available to take home.  Each cake makes 3-4 knockers. A great small project for hot summer days.

Yarn for this charity effort has been purchased with KNIT Chapter funds.

Thank you again for supporting the Linus Project. If you took blankets home to finish, please bring them to this meeting if at all possible.

As always please bring show and share items — old or new!

Knitters Night Out West (KNOW)

KNOW will be having the Knitting in Art program that was supposed to be in May. We will also be voting on the Executive Board slate of officers.

Members often arrive early to visit over dinner and show their support to the restaurant for their generosity in allowing us to meet there. Visitors and members from other chapters are always welcome!
