Our stitches continue to make a difference! I’m happy to report that 20 handmade hats have been donated to Star of Hope. Thank you to everyone who contributed your time and talent!!
Now, let’s build on that generosity! We’re launching a Head Start Hat Challenge for March and April — and our goal is 60 Hats in 60 Days! Let’s see how much we can create together during this two-month challenge to bless local Head Start children.
One suggested pattern many of you have enjoyed is the Scrap Happy Celebration Hat. If you choose to use a different hat pattern, please make sure it is preschool size, fitting an average three- to five-year-old child.
Please bring your completed hats to meetings through the end of April. Let’s fill — and overflow — the basket!
If your chapter has donated any items on your own, please email the KANG charity team so we can be sure to include them in the monthly total.
