It’s getting close to the time when we change officers for the upcoming year. The chapter presidents will be talking about this at your next monthly meeting and asking for volunteers to serve on the Nominating Committee. This is NOT asking for you to be an officer, just to be on the committee who looks for new officers. The committee usually meets via Zoom, and the commitment is only for a couple of months. If you are willing to do this, please let your chapter president know.

On the needles: I finished a Forester sweater for my husband. It fits well, and he likes it – the only thing I wish I’d done differently is to use a lighter weight yarn. It’s wool and alpaca and would be great if we lived in Alaska! But then, he’s always cold anyway.

Now I’m working on a Sempervirens cardigan for myself. I made one a couple of years ago and love it. It’s lightweight and lacy and a fun pattern to make.
