KIND Member, Kate Wilson, will facilitate the March programs about “Knitting Websites“!
Do you have a device for winding hanks of yarn into balls? Jane will lead this program and help us learn all about this “swift”.
HOMEWORK: Bring your swift and yarn that needs winding!
Marsha Smith will show us how to do duplicate knitting.
In preparation, please knit a small swatch, using these instructions:
Also, bring scissors, embroidery floss in a contrasting color (if you have any) and a blunt tipped tapestry needle. If you don’t have floss or tapestry needles, there will be extra to use.
Join us for some knitted/crocheted/crafted Christmas ornaments or decorations!
Everyone is asked to bring any of these that they may have, no matter how long ago or recently. It would be helpful for you to bring the pattern and/or name of the yarn, if you can.
We have seen her vibrant colors of yarn that she has done this way. This is an easy, fun and safe way to dye yarn.
**NOTE: Due to early voting at Bayland Community Center, our space is limited, so please email Barbara Hass (barhass323@gmail.com) if you are not a KIND member and would like to attend.
For our September meeting, we will be sharing our favorite knitting/crocheting things – needles, yarn, patterns, etc.
Please bring yours and your items for Show and Share.
In August we will discuss programs you would like to see for next year. Bring your ideas!
