Knitters Night in Town (KNIT)

This month we’ll be making counting chains. This nifty little tool moves just like a stitch marker so you can keep knitting (or crocheting) uninterrupted. No more putting your project down to click a counter or tap an app on your phone!

To participate, please bring:

Small jewelry pliers (needle, round, or bent nose) – two pairs if you have them!

Any beads or charms you would like to use (or share).

We will provide the metal hardware and numbers.

Don’t want to make one? No problem! You are still welcome to join us and work on your own project.

Guests and members of other chapters are always welcome!

Amy Campbell will be presenting a program on mosaic knitting. If you would like to try it yourself, please bring two contrasting colors of yarn in the same weight and appropriate needles for your yarn. A pattern for a sample square will be provided!

Guests and members of other chapters are always welcome!

Knitted Knockers Night

We will learn a few tips on making knockers using 2 circulars, magic loop or double points.

For those willing to support this effort, patterns and Caboo yarn will be available to take home.  Each cake makes 3-4 knockers. A great small project for hot summer days.

Yarn for this charity effort has been purchased with KNIT Chapter funds.

Thank you again for supporting the Linus Project. If you took blankets home to finish, please bring them to this meeting if at all possible.

As always please bring show and share items — old or new!
